Land update

After being overseas for the last eight weeks we returned to find that not much had changed in the land situation. Apparently the development was delayed due to rain so the settlement has been pushed back to mid September. There are some additions though, the bike path has been laid beside our block as well as the footpath in front. The ashphalt has gone down on the road beds which were still just gravel before we left. However I'm curious to know when the driveways go in... seeing as they've already laid the gutters...?

As we drove past the other day, we discovered the fences had been left open so we snuck in for a quick look up close and took a picture. Lucky we're situated next to the bike path, otherwise we'd have never known which two little white sticks marked our block!

  1. Hey Natalie,

Loved reading your blog. We r thinking of building the Fairview MKIV in sydney too. Nice to see someone building it as well. Just was wondering how has your experience with the builders been so far. Are the inclusions pretty much alright or do u think there would be a need for too many upgrades. Any tips you can give me.

Loved your color selection, hope the land gets registered soon :)

    1. Hi, thanks! So far so good with the builders, although the actual building is yet to begin because the land has been delayed from rain etc. The base inclusions at the gold level are pretty good. We just wanted to add a lot more, like taller ceiling, tiles rather than carpet in the hall/living areas and making a lot of windows bigger, so most of our upgrades are a WANT rather than a NEED!
